Can my mentee skip parts of the course?

Springboard courses are meant to be flexible. We encourage students to follow each course curriculum in a linear fashion as each subsequent unit builds on material from previous units. However, if your mentee is comfortable tackling topics in later units, they are free to do so.

For example, we've had a student in our Business Analytics course skip over an early unit covering spreadsheet modeling because they were comfortable and proficient with this material from prior work experience.

Don't hesitate to encourage your students to take on later material in the curriculum if earlier units are proving to be easy!

Note: As long as your mentee fulfills the requirements to complete their course, they can skip parts of the course. You can take a look at each course's  curriculum requirements.
